Mac mini multiple monitors

I hate the waste of electricity, but I'm almost to the point of disabling display sleep entirely.

The computer ought to know where they are.ĭoes anyone know what's up with this or how to work around it? It sounds like a small thing, and it probably is, but man it sure is annoying when it happens 4-5 times a day because I'm working on other stuff or have to leave my workspace. They're all plugged into Thunderbolt-to-DisplayPort cables and it's not like they're moving from one port to another. But I assume a decent percentage (possibly over 50%) of multi-monitor setups use multiple of the same monitor. It even happened on my previous (Intel) Mac Mini.Īll three monitors are identical ViewSonic 27' displays, which I assume has something to do with it. It adds about a minute of fiddling to get everything fixed every time it happens. And even then the windows are all goofed up. I have to open Preferences, Displays and drag them back into position. the Mac wakes from display sleep, it has swapped the right and left displays.

I have a Mac Studio on 12.4 with three monitors: left, middle, and right.
